How do you know my design style?

I start ever project with a questionnaire that asks several questions to hone in on your design style. If you have links to Pinterest boards or other images, we would love for you to share those too! The more info you can provide us, the better. And if. you are not sure of your design style, that's ok!  Being drawn to more than one style is very common and we work together to determine what will be best for you and your home.

Are you able to work within my budget? 

Of course! We are happy to work within your budget. The beauty of working with By Brooke Interiors is our extensive knowledge of furnishing, decor, and where to find the best items at a range of price points.  That said, we do want to be upfront and realistic about what it costs to update, renovate and/or furnish a home. Check out our Investment Guides to get a better idea of what to expect.

Do you require a minimum fee or budget in order to take on a project?

Yes.  There is a minimum design fee of $1800 per room, which does not include the additional cost of furnishing or trade work.

What if I have multiple rooms I'd like designed?

That's great news!  We always encourage tackling all the rooms on your mind at one time.  Designing for more than one room helps to not only design cohesively, but also source items all at once, eliminating multiple deliveries and less interruptions from trade work being completed if that's part of the project.

I think I need to do some renovations.  Do you work with or recommend general contractors?

Yes!  I have contractors I can happily connect you with or I am happy to work with whoever you choose.  My goal is to always work with any additional trades as a team, and frequent communication is key to make sure your project stays on track.

I don’t really have a clear vision for my space.  Do I need to know what I want before working with you?

Not at all!  That’s part of why I’m there - to help you hone in on this and share ideas you may not have considered.  At the start of every project, outside of our initial consultation I’ll send a detailed survey to help me learn more about your likes and dislikes when it comes to design.

What if an item goes out-of-stock before purchasing?

We hate it when that happens but unfortunately, sometimes it does. 

For in person clients, we try to troubleshoot this before the purchasing begins and will delivery additional options that fit your design right away.

For virtual clients, we will re-select any items that go out-of-stock within 30 days of the date your design package was delivered.

Is my Virtual Design Package refundable?

After a Virtual Design Package has been purchased we are committed to your project and immediately adjust our schedule to fit your project in as quickly as we can within the 3-4 week timeframe. At this time, we do not allow refunds at any time during the design process.
